China actively evaluates Myanmar's determination and efforts in ensuring the safety of Chinese citizens, and says that the crime of online gambling and electronic fraud seriously infringes on the safety of people's lives and property. China is willing to actively carry out bilateral and multilateral cooperation with neighboring countries such as Myanmar and Thailand, implement comprehensive measures, treat both the symptoms and the root causes, and work together to block criminals from committing crimes in relevant countries, jointly eliminate the "cancer" of online gambling and electronic fraud, and maintain the normal order of exchanges and cooperation between regional and countries.
The Myanmar side introduced the specific measures of the Myanmar government to crack down on online gambling and electronic fraud in the near future, and said that the Myanmar side attached great importance to and severely cracked down on illegal and criminal acts such as online gambling and electronic fraud, and would strengthen coordination with China and other relevant neighboring countries to promote bilateral and multilateral cooperation, and explore the establishment of a normalized cooperation mechanism to jointly crack down on cross-border crimes such as online gambling and electronic fraud in the near future.
