CCTV News: According to the WeChat official account of the National Energy Administration, in January 2025, the National Energy Administration issued 231 million green certificates, an increase of 2.25 times year-on-year, of which 150 million green certificates can be tradable, accounting for 64.94%, involving 65,000 renewable energy power generation projects. This issue issued 153 million green certificates corresponding to renewable energy electricity in December 2024, accounting for 66.23%. As of January 2025, a total of 5.186 billion green certificates have been issued nationwide, of which 3.529 billion can be traded.
In January 2025, there were 53.1 million green certificates trading nationwide, of which 25.96 million green certificates trading in green electricity were employed. As of the end of January 2025, a total of 606 million green certificates were traded nationwide, of which 264 million green certificates were traded in green electricity.
