At present, the Tibet Autonomous Region has launched a Level 2 response.
According to reports, the main leaders of the autonomous region have led a team to the earthquake zone and demanded that they make every effort to rescue the wounded, investigate the situation, find out the basic situation, work together, strengthen coordination, and effectively protect the lives and property of the people.
At 9:5 on the 7th, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake occurred in Dingri County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region. The epicenter was located in Cuoguo Township, Dingri County. The population within 20 kilometers of the epicenter was about 6,900 people, and there were 3 townships (towns, streets) stations and 27 villages within 20 kilometers of the epicenter.
