"Awang Ciren, deputy director of the Management Committee of Sengaqude Monastery, Dingri County Chansuo Township, told the Global Times reporter that after the earthquake on January 7, he immediately asked the Dingri County Government for help and rushed to Zongbu Monastery with local people to carry out rescue work. After firefighters, the People's Liberation Army and other emergency rescue forces arrived in Changsuo Township, Zongbu Temple was also used as a rescue point and carried out rescue work simultaneously with other disaster-stricken areas in Changsuo Township.
