CCTV News (News Network): The China Small and Medium Enterprises Association released on January 12 that in the fourth quarter of 2024, China's Small and Medium Enterprises Development Index was 89.0, an increase of 0.1 point compared with the third quarter.
From the perspective of the whole year, my country's small and medium-sized enterprises were generally stable last year, and the vitality and motivation of enterprises were effectively released. Especially in the fourth quarter, with the coordinated efforts of a series of existing and incremental policies, the confidence of small and medium-sized enterprises has been significantly boosted.
In 2024, small and medium-sized enterprises in my country generally accelerated the pace of transformation and upgrading, and digitalization, intelligence and greening have become the main directions of transformation and development. The industrialization rate of effective invention patents for small and medium-sized enterprises reached 55.1%, an increase of two consecutive years. The average R&D investment of "little giant" enterprises accounts for 7% of their operating income. At present, my country has more than 140,000 specialized, specialized, and innovative SMEs, and more than 600,000 scientific and innovative SMEs.
