The State Food and Drug Administration and the General Administration of Customs issued a notice on the addition of border ports for the import of Mengkang and Mohan medicinal materials in Yunnan Province today.

After the approval of the State Council, it is agreed to add Mengkang Port and Mohan Port (including Mohan Railway Port) as border ports for importing medicinal materials. In order to further standardize the import of medicinal materials at Mengkang and Mohan Ports (including Mohan Railway Port), the relevant matters are notified as follows: 1. The customs area code of Mengkang Port in Yunnan Province is 8631, the customs area code of Mohan Highway Port is 8612, and the customs area code of Mohan Railway Port is 8649.
2. The Pu'er Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau and the Kunming Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau are responsible for the filing of imported medicinal materials at Mengkang Port and Mohan Port (including Mohan Railway Port). When filing imported medicinal materials, use the "special seal for drug registration". The seal style is shown in the attachment.
3. The Pu'er Municipal Market Supervision Administration and the Kunming Municipal Market Supervision Administration have established a working relationship between the filing of imported medicinal materials and port inspection with the Yunnan Food and Drug Supervision and Inspection Institute, standardize the filing of imported medicinal materials at Mengkang Port and Mohan Port (including Mohan Railway Port), and organize port inspection work.
4. The Yunnan Provincial Drug Administration shall strengthen the supervision and management of imported medicinal materials within the administrative region and improve the informatization level of imported medicinal materials filing and port inspection.
