CCTV News: The Palace Museum announced the measures to make quick appointments and ticket checks for minors during the 2025 winter vacation on January 15. The details are as follows:

Teams organized by independent legal entities that account for more than 85% of minors can make quick reservations for team minor tickets through the email address yycg@dpm.org.cn 1-6 days in advance. Adult tickets in the team need to be made to purchase separately. When submitting an appointment application, the appointment period for adult tickets must be indicated. Each email can only be submitted to one team of minors, and the "Appointment Visit Application Form", "List of Visitors" and "Commitment Letter" can be submitted in accordance with regulations.

The Forbidden City receives 200 teams of minors every day. The order of email reception is in the order of time. Until the appointment is over, the appointment results will be notified to the applicant unit by email. To ensure the safety of minors visiting, each minor team is limited to 30 minors, and the ratio of adults to minors in the team shall not be less than 1:10, and the maximum number of team members is 35. Adults and minors will be reviewed according to this proportion during ticket inspection. Those who do not meet the requirements will be refused admission.

The team of minors who have successfully made an appointment must sign and stamp the original text of the "Appointment Visit Application Form", "Visitor List" and "Commitment Letter" on the day of the visit, and go to the ticket service window No. 8 on the west side of Duanmen Square to complete the admission visit procedures. The minor team can quickly check tickets from the Meridian Gate to be admitted to the hospital with the admission certificate received by the "List of Visitors" and the ticketing window. During peak passenger flow, the Forbidden City will open a dedicated channel for minors.

If it is found that the actual admission to the minor team is inconsistent with the "List of Visitors" in the appointment email, the Forbidden City has the right to refuse the team's admission to the hospital and cancel the application unit's appointment to the minor team during the winter vacation in 2025. The minor team must abide by the "Instructions for Visiting the Palace Museum" and "Catalog of Prohibited Items of the Palace Museum" and other regulations, obey the management of on-site staff, and do not hinder other audiences from visiting normally. If the above provisions are violated, the Forbidden City has the right to refuse the team's admission to the hospital and cancel the application unit's qualification to make an appointment for minors during the 2025 winter vacation.

This measure will be implemented from January 20 to February 16, 2025. Starting from January 16, 2025, applications for minors’ team appointments will begin to be accepted.
