People's Daily, Shanghai, January 15 (Reporter Shen Wenmin) On the morning of January 15, the second large domestic cruise ship H1509 ("Ida Huacheng") achieved full ship completion in the dock No. 2 of Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Group Co., Ltd., and was fully transferred to the "second half" of the entire ship interior engineering, equipment and system debugging.
From the docking assembly and the completion of the entire ship, the "Ida Huacheng" took less than 9 months, which was more than 2 months shorter than the first ship. It marks that while China's shipbuilding industry has initially mastered the key core technologies of design and construction, it has taken another solid step towards the goal of serialized, lean and efficient construction of large cruise ships 2.0.
Better than the first ship, the "Ida Huacheng" ship type is larger - the total tonnage reaches 141,900 tons, an increase of 6,400 tons; the total length is 341 meters, an increase of 17.4 meters; the number of rooms is 2,144, an increase of 19, and the full capacity of tourists is 5,232. The mail ship is also equipped with a huge superstructure of up to 16 floors, adding more experiential and fun related facilities.
According to the plan, the "Ida Huacheng" will take off in the dock at the end of April this year, the main generator motor vehicle will be basically completed in August, and the background installation project will be basically completed by the end of December.
