On July 7, the General Office of National Defense and the Ministry of Emergency Management continued to monitor the flood situation in Guangxi, Hubei, Gansu and other places, and dynamically deployed flood prevention and relief work.

·The National Disaster Prevention and Control Administration maintains the Level 2 emergency response for flood control in Guangxi;

·The National Disaster Prevention, Reduction and Relief Commission launches the Level 4 national emergency response for Hubei and Gansu, and maintains the Level 4 national emergency response for disaster relief in Guangxi.In response, an additional working group was dispatched to Hubei to guide the rescue work of wind and hail disasters;

· The Ministry of Emergency Management launched a national level four emergency response to geological disasters in Gansu and maintained a level three national emergency response to geological disasters in Guangxi.

The National Defense Headquarters Joint Working Group is in Hengzhou City, Nanning, Guangxi and other places to assist and guide local authorities in the search and rescue of personnel, the relocation and resettlement of people, and the handling of dangerous reservoir situations.The working group of the National Disaster Prevention, Reduction and Relief Office inspected the disaster situation on the spot in Guangxi, and assisted and guided local governments in disaster relief and rescue work such as reporting disaster statistics and providing basic living security for the affected people.

The State General Office of National Defense, together with the State Administration of Grain and Reserves, allocated more than 36,000 pieces of central flood control materials to Guangxi such as woven bags, laminated woven fabrics, metal cages, and rubber boats.The Office of the National Disaster Prevention, Reduction and Relief Committee and the Ministry of Emergency Management have coordinated with relevant foundations through the government-social coordination guarantee mechanism for emergency materials to provide approximately 40,000 pieces of emergency food, emergency lighting, raincoats, rain boots, moisture-proof mats and other materials to Guangxi. The 160,000 pieces of central disaster relief materials allocated in the early stage have arrived in the disaster-stricken areas of Guangxi.

The Ministry of Emergency Management has dispatched a national comprehensive fire rescue team of 1,372 people, 270 vehicles, and 140 boats to carry out rescue work in Guangxi. It has rescued 137 trapped people and evacuated 1,058 people in distress; it has organized more than 2,200 engineering rescue forces from central enterprises such as China Aneng, China Railway Group, China Communications Construction Company, China Railway Construction, and China Construction to carry out professional equipment to carry out personnel transfer, road clearance, and dam protection in Guangxi.
