On July 27, with the 100-day countdown to the ninth CIIE, the launch ceremony for the 10th China International Import Expo was held at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center.At the launch ceremony, 68 companies signed contracts to participate in the 10th CIIE, with the contracted exhibition area exceeding 50,000 square meters.More than 30 companies will participate in the CIIE ten times, becoming the first batch of "full-time students" to participate in the exhibition for ten consecutive years.
Wu Zhengping, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the China International Import Expo Bureau, said that as the world's first national exhibition with the theme of "import", the CIIE has attracted more than 27,000 companies from more than 180 countries and regions to participate in the exhibition in eight years, with an intended transaction volume exceeding US$580 billion.The CIIE has not only transformed exhibits into commodities, but also built a bridge between exhibitors and investors, becoming an important gateway for foreign-funded enterprises to enter and take root in China.
