The reporter learned from the State Grid Smart Vehicle Networking Platform today that during the Spring Festival in 2025, the charging capacity of my country's new energy vehicle highways increased significantly, an increase of nearly 30% over the same period last year.
Data shows that during this year's Spring Festival, the charging volume of the State Grid smart vehicle networking platform reached 180 million kilowatt-hours, and the average daily charging volume reached 22.58 million kilowatt-hours, an increase of 25.26% year-on-year. Among them, the charging volume of highways reached 57.27 million kilowatt-hours, and the average daily charging volume was 7.16 million kilowatt-hours, an increase of 29.48% year-on-year. Among them, on February 3rd, the sixth day of the first lunar month, the charging capacity of the expressway reached 8.9 million kilowatt-hours, a record high.
From the highways, the three highways with the most charging capacity are: Shenhai Expressway, Changshen Expressway and Beijing-Shanghai Expressway. The charging capacity of the three highways increased by 18%, 43% and 19% respectively compared with the same period last year.
From the geographical perspective, during the Spring Festival, the top three provinces in the charging capacity of new energy vehicle expressways are: Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province and Anhui Province. Among them, the charging volume of expressways in Jiangsu Province was 8.12 million kilowatt-hours, an increase of 35% over the same period last year. The charging volume of expressways in Zhejiang Province was 7.92 million kilowatt-hours, an increase of 44% over the same period last year, and the charging volume of expressways in Anhui Province was 6.99 million kilowatt-hours, an increase of 33% over the same period last year.
