CCTV News: Data from the People's Bank of China shows that during the 2025 Spring Festival holiday (January 28-February 4), UnionPay and Network Communications handled a total of 25.416 billion payment transactions with a total amount of 9.78 trillion yuan, an increase of 24.50% and 15.00% respectively compared with last year's Spring Festival holiday (February 10-17, 2024). Among them, UnionPay and Network Network processed transactions and amounts of overseas personnel who came to China increased by 124.54% and 90.49% respectively.
