"In September last year, three new models from the three major brands such as Avita were put into production at the new factory at the same time, with 5,000 units offline that month, and by December the production capacity reached 24,000 units." Wu Kezhi, deputy general manager of Changan Automobile Digital Intelligence Factory, said that a new factory can quickly achieve full production operation, which is inseparable from the empowerment of 5G+ industrial Internet.

How much changes does digitalization bring to the assembly? Maybe the answer can be found in the assembly workshop.

He Wenbin said that the heavy and fragile windshield originally required workers to control the lifting, handling and installation of the spreader, while fully automatic assembly reduced the workload of workers, improved the production rhythm, enhanced the accuracy and reliability of pasting, and realized the traceability of product assembly data throughout the process, "do the 'fine work' even more amazing!"

In Changan Automobile Digital Intelligence Factory, online AI visual inspection has covered 25 scenarios and 73 workstations such as thermal imaging mold temperature monitoring. All of this is inseparable from high-speed, low-latency, and wide-connection 5G networks.

As a full-domain 5G digital AI flexible super factory jointly created by China Unicom, Huawei and Changan Automobile, Changan Automobile Digital Intelligence Factory has 4 5G macro stations and 338 5G micro stations, connecting 5 major categories, 25 minor categories, and 103 5G+ scenarios, achieving networking of more than 12,000 devices, and the acquisition efficiency reaches 1 million points/second. The factory's 5G technology application has also set a number of industry records, including the first 100% to the camera, the first 100% to the station, and the first industrial control Internet of Things that is autonomous and controllable and adaptable to 5G.

"Using the support of many solutions such as 5G+industrial Internet, 5G+AI, we have applied 44 industry advanced manufacturing technologies." Wu Kezhi introduced that these technologies include the world's first online inspection and automatic packing system for stamping parts, the world's first 5G full-domain software packaging technology, and fully automatic aluminum liquid smelting technology.

"After the supplier's bottlenecks are cleared, the factory order delivery rate will reach 100%, the plan accuracy will exceed 99%, the order delivery cycle will be shortened by 3 to 7 days, and the cost control can reach the industry-leading level." Wu Kezhi said that Changan Automobile Digital Intelligent Factory will continue to evolve, and to achieve 100% unmanned operation of key processes, it must also be built into a new benchmark for China's intelligent manufacturing.
