2025-04-23 source:Workers' Daily

Worker Daily (Reporter Li Danqing) The reporter recently learned from the National Medical Insurance Administration that in order to allow insured persons to enjoy more convenient and high-quality medical services, the National Medical Insurance Administration has deployed and guided the coordinated areas to accelerate the construction of designated pharmacies' open price comparison mini programs or modules for designated pharmacies, and provide services such as price comparison and location navigation. At present, 29 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps have successively launched designated pharmacies' price comparison mini programs covering the entire province.

According to reports, insured persons can obtain drug price comparison through the local Medical Insurance Bureau APP, WeChat mini program, WeChat official account, Alipay mini program, etc., to realize one-click query of drug prices on mobile phones, real-time comparison and location navigation. At the same time, the price comparison program of designated pharmacies in some provinces also provides related functions such as inventory information display, abnormal price reminders, price trend analysis, etc.

"The medical insurance department has launched the online operation of the medical insurance designated pharmacies price comparison mini program to promote the formation of a market-led price comparison mechanism, and guided retail pharmacies to improve the standardization and economicality of drug pricing and serving the people. While reducing the burden on people to use medicine, it has a broader market space and more sustainable incremental development." A relevant person in charge of the National Medical Insurance Administration said.

In the next step, the National Health Insurance Administration will continue to guide local governments to accelerate the implementation of the construction of designated pharmacies price comparison mini programs, continuously improve the awareness and usage of price comparison mini programs, create a fair and competitive market environment for the retail pharmacies industry, provide the public with more open and transparent drug purchase services, and promote the healthy and orderly development of the pharmaceutical retail industry.
