The reporter learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that in the first quarter of this year, my country's electronic information manufacturing production grew rapidly, exports continued to rebound, efficiency increased significantly, and investment growth accelerated.
Data show that in the first quarter, the added value of the electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 13.6% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 7.5 percentage points and 1.1 percentage points higher than the industrial and high-tech manufacturing industries in the same period. Among the main products, the output of smartphones was 298 million units, a year-on-year increase of 6.9%. In the first quarter, the electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size achieved operating income of 4.31 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.8%, and the cumulative export delivery value increased by 4.2% year-on-year. In the first three months of this year, fixed asset investment in the electronic information manufacturing industry increased by 5.4% year-on-year, an increase of 4.2 percentage points from January to February.
