The industrial Internet is the product of the deep integration of new generation information and communication technology and manufacturing, and is a key foundation for the deep integration of the real economy and the digital economy. Xie Cun, Director of the Information and Communication Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that my country's integrated industrial Internet application has achieved full coverage of 41 major industrial categories. Last year, the scale of core industries exceeded 1.5 trillion yuan, driving economic growth by nearly 3.5 trillion yuan, providing important support for promoting new industrialization and building a modern industrial system.
At present, high-quality external networks cover more than 97% of prefecture-level administrative regions across the country. An independent and controllable identification resolution system has been built, with national top nodes operating stably, 383 secondary nodes have been launched, with more than 650 billion identification registrations, and more than 500,000 enterprises have been served. The National Industrial Internet Big Data Center gathers 1.4 billion industrial data and initially builds an industrial model corpus.
Xie Cun said that in the next step, he will accelerate the issuance of guiding opinions on promoting the high-quality development of the industrial Internet, and create an upgraded version of the "5G+Industrial Internet"; systematically promote the research and development of key technologies in the industrial Internet, upgrade facilities, and accelerate the technological innovation and industrialization promotion of industrial 5G chips, modules, smart devices, etc.
