CCTV News: According to customs statistics, in the first quarter of 2025, my country's imports and exports to Cambodia were 33.33 billion yuan, maintaining growth for six consecutive quarters, and the scale of imports and exports hit a record high in the same period.
In the first quarter, my country imported 980 million yuan of agricultural products from Cambodia, an increase of 12.2%, and Cambodia's high-quality agricultural products were successively brought to the dining tables of Chinese people.
Cambodia and my country show strong complementarity in the automotive industry. In the first quarter, my country exported 840 million yuan of automobiles and lithium batteries to Cambodia, respectively, an increase of 183.7% and 465.7% respectively.
In the first quarter, my country exported 10.14 billion yuan of textiles to Cambodia, an increase of 17.7%, an increase of seven consecutive quarters, accounting for 34.3% of my total export value to Cambodia during the same period. During the same period, our country imported clothing and clothing accessories from Cambodia for RMB 790 million, an increase of 5.2%.
Cambodia is the first country to sign an action plan with my country to build a community with a shared future. With the continuous deepening of China-Cambodia economic and trade cooperation, bilateral trade development prospects are broad.
