CCTV News: According to the official account of "Dali Release", the Eryuan County Government Information Office issued an earthquake report, and the China Earthquake Network officially determined that a magnitude 4.8 earthquake occurred in Eryuan County (26.27 degrees north latitude, 100.00 degrees east longitude) at 00:08 on April 24, 2025, with a depth of 10 kilometers.
After the earthquake, Eryuan County immediately launched a magnitude 4-magnitude response to earthquake emergency and quickly organized forces to verify the disaster situation. Fire rescue, forest firefighting, town and village cadres and related units have gone deep into the epicenter area to conduct investigations. As of 2:00 on April 24, some houses were damaged and no reports of casualties have been received.
