According to reports, from December 2024 to February 2025, the State Fire and Rescue Bureau and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly deployed a special rectification of the quality and safety of filtered fire self-rescue respirators across the country, and focused on investigating and punishing illegal acts of producing, selling, and using counterfeit and shoddy filtered fire self-rescue respirators.
During the special rectification period, the State Fire Rescue Bureau and the State Administration for Market Regulation strengthened the investigation and rectification of problems on online trading platforms, promptly cleaned up and removed the problem filtered fire self-rescue respirator products, closed more than 8,000 network links, and removed the problematic products 5,581 batches. Fire and market supervision departments in various places have carried out supervision and inspection in a concentrated manner, strengthened credit punishment and warning exposure, and jointly handled a number of illegal and criminal cases with the public. At the same time, they have popularized the methods of identifying fake fire products to the public, and opened up channels for reporting and complaining about illegal fire products.
