As the highest honor of Chinese films, the 20th China Film Huabiao Awards were announced in Qingdao on April 27. In terms of film awards, 10 films including "The Twenty" won the Excellent Feature Film Award, "I Am a Mountain" won the Excellent Rural Theme Film Award, "Snow Leopard" won the Excellent Minority Theme Film Award, "Pony Whip" won the Excellent Children's Theme Film Award, and "The Lonely Moon" won the Excellent Youth Film Creation Award. In terms of individual awards, Guo Fan won the Outstanding Director Award for "The Wandering Earth 2", while Dong Runnian and Ying Luojia cannot stop for "The Annual Meeting! 》 won the Outstanding Screenwriter Award, Zhang Yi won the Outstanding Actor Award for "The Third Team", and Hui Yinghong won the Outstanding Actor Award for "I Love You! 》 won the Outstanding Actress Award, Peng Fei won the Outstanding Film Music Award for "The Third Team", and Cai Tao and Liao Nie won the Outstanding Film Photography Award for "The Unknown".

In order to commend the outstanding performance of the film "Nezha: The Devil Child's Stirring Sea" in the domestic and foreign markets since the 2025 Spring Festival, the State Film Administration specially awarded the honorary certificate of "Special Contribution Video" to "Nezha: The Devil Child's Stirring Sea".

The Huabiao Award is the highest honor for Chinese films, and is organized by the State Film Administration to select and present awards. The films participating in the 20th China Film Huabiao Awards are excellent domestic films released from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2024. They include 11 awards and 20 award quotas, including feature films, children's theme films, rural theme films, ethnic minority theme films and animation films, and showcase the development achievements and industry style of Chinese films in recent years.

Shen Haixiong, deputy director of the Central Propaganda Department and director of the China Central Radio and Television Station, attended the award ceremony and presented awards to 10 films that won the Excellent Feature Film Award and "Nezha: The Devil Child Fights the Sea". The event also recommended the May Day new film and the outstanding domestic films in the 2025 key period.
