According to news from the National Energy Administration of China on the 2nd, through statistical analysis of 57,600 highway charging facilities (guns) included in the national charging facility monitoring service platform, on the first day of the May Day holiday (00:00 to 24:00 on May 1st), the charging volume of new energy vehicles on China's highways reached 23.0339 million kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 55.6%, and the number of charging services exceeded 946,300 times, setting a new historical record for charging volume on the first day of the May Day holiday.
The National Energy Administration stated that in the next step, it will continue to strengthen the monitoring of highway charging facilities with relevant parties, strengthen the dynamic allocation of emergency charging resources, and make every effort to ensure follow-up charging services during the May Day holiday.
