Shale oil is an unconventional resource contained in shale formations.The Shengli Jiyang Shale Oil National Demonstration Area is the third shale oil national demonstration area after the Xinjiang Jimusar and Daqing Gulong National Demonstration Areas. It aims to improve my country's continental faulted lake basin shale oil exploration and development technology system, break key technical bottlenecks, achieve important breakthroughs in exploration and development, and form an efficient exploration and development model that can be replicated and promoted.
Yang Yong, head of the Shengli Jiyang shale oil team, said that the Shengli Oilfield will anchor the three goals of Jiyang shale oil's large-scale reserve increase, efficient production production, and project cost reduction, and promote the construction of the demonstration zone from "demonstration leadership" to "scale development" to ensure that the country's energy rice bowl will be more stable and better.
